C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst (MDA)

MDR is looking for an amazingly talented C2BMC Principal Acquisition Analyst to join our team! In this role you will become a member of the Parsons TEAMS NEXT support staff with a primary work assignment supporting the Missile Defense Agencys Command Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC). This assignment requires a seasoned professional with a detailed understanding of DoD acquisition processes to include cost schedule and performance of contracts.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Utilize working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy plans processes procedures and guidance for MDS development and fielding
• Develop Acquisition Plans Justification and Approvals Request for Proposal packages Statements of Work and Contract Data Requirement Lists
• Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration
• Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners
• Develop reports information papers decision papers and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadership
• Support and interact on a daily basis with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above GS-15/NH-4 equivalent) sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand)

What Required Skills Youll Bring:

• Bachelors Degree and 20 years of relevant experience or Master Degree and 12 years of relevant experience
• Active Secret clearance
• Possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines
• Experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements
• Capable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research track and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWS
• Experience in cost schedule and performance management for a space based program and/or a DoD
• Expertise in strategic planning acquisition strategy development and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution
