As a Clinical Vocational Supervisor at Horizon you will
- Provide weekly supervision to VRCs including case consultation performance feedback skills development and support.
- Ensure VRCs deliver personâcentered traumaâinformed vocational counseling aligned with recoveryâoriented care.
- Oversee integration of vocational services within multidisciplinary treatment teams.
- Lead the development and maintenance of employer partnerships acrossWestern New York
- Collaborate with the Communications Department to conduct outreach to business associations industry networks and community partners.
- Provide consultation to employers on inclusive hiring practices recoveryâfriendly workplace policies accommodations and retention strategies.
- Conduct ongoing labor market analysis using NYS DOL data employer feedback and economic development updates.
- Guide VRCs in aligning job development activities with inâdemand occupations and patient career interests.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the OASAS job development and technicalassistanceliaison.
- Participatein required monthly meetings webinars and statewide convenings.
- Ensuretimelyaccuratemonthly data submission in collaboration with the Business Intelligence (BI) Department.
- Lead CQI processes including data review performance trend analysis and development of improvement plans.
- Share outcomes and insights with leadership OASAS and regional partners.

What makes you a great candidate
We cant wait to learn more about you! Here are a few specifics of what youll need for the job:
- Completed Masters degree in a program that will grant licensure in the state of New York required.
- LMSW LCSW or LMHC required.
- 1 year of demonstrated expertise in SUD treatment and clinical supervision required.
- Experience with employer engagement workforce development or vocational programming preferred.
- Excellent communication leadership and dataâdriven decisionâmaking skills.
Location:
This position is located at 699 Hertel Ave Buffalo NY.
Position Hours:
This position is full-time Monday Friday from 9:00am 5:00pm.
Compensation:
Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is$6300-$70000. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.
Please note: this is a grant-funded position.
Physical demands associated with this position include:
- Sitting for extended periods alternating between standing and sitting
- Mobility required with repetitive wrist hand and finger movements
- Handling light duties occasionally lifting objects up to 20 pounds
