Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Strategic leader for Sony Consumer Products (Hardlines Softlines and Publishing) at retail accounts such as Target Walmart Amazon and with ecommerce partners.
Responsible for building and driving multi-category program development at retail from ideation and strategy to executional tactics to achieve/support organizational objectives for market share volume revenue operating income and brand awareness.
Responsible for the retail development budget of assigned accounts and ensuring that the revenue goals are being achieved.
Cultivates and fosters strong working relationships with retailer buyers marketing managers and key agencies/suppliers.
Ability to influence the account by selling-in key programs.
Applies financial acumen and analytical skills to build a successful strategy.
Work with category sales teams licensees and buyers to ensure cross category placement at key retailers ( eg. Toys collectables apparel consumables home publishing etc.).
Manages marketing programs including digital/social campaigns and in-store events that cross multiple business segments and IP for Sony film and television franchises for the consumer products department.
Requirements:
A bachelors degree is required MBA preferred.
6-10 years of Retail Development experience and industry knowledge.
Experience within the consumer brand or at a studio highly preferred.
Cross category programs and retail experience highly preferred.
Experience with managing publicity digital and retail marketing campaigns as part of retail programs.
Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) is required.
Proven presentation skills with executive presence and leadership; ability to appropriately influence and drive results with key stakeholders.
Proven track record of developing and presenting a compelling marketing strategy and content presentation at a buyer/marketing manager level meeting.
Fluency with PowerPoint is a must.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $133581- $173655. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including without limitation the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held and if applicable the location of the position.Sony Pictures Entertainment is an equal opportunity employer.
