Job Summary
Theracare is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our outpatient pediatric team. This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working with children in a collaborative play-based environment and is available for afternoon and evening hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with a variety of developmental sensory and functional needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support independence and participation in daily activities
- Utilize creative play-based therapy techniques to engage children and promote skill development
- Provide family and caregiver education to support carryover of skills outside the clinic
- Complete timely and accurate documentation including evaluations daily notes and progress reports
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated high-quality care
Schedule:
- Part-time
- Afternoon and evening availability required
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or higher degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Indiana OT license (or eligible)
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required
- Strong clinical reasoning communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for working with children and families
