ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- All essential functions of the Medical Assistant
- Provides back office training and instruction to CORE employees
- Provides Service Excellence training and instruction to CORE employees
- Independently performs ongoing competency and performance evaluation of employees participating in training.
- Utilizes discretionary judgment to determine employees eligibility for completion of training program and release into home base clinic.
- Conducts regular audits of back office performance
- Conducts regular audits of adherence to CORE standard operating procedures and workflows
- Updates standard operating procedures workflows and applicable BO training checklists
- Serves as a mentor and resource for CORE employees
- Communicates clearly and effectively in verbal and written communication
- Shares appropriate information at all levels of the organization
- Assist in coordination of training and review schedules for employees
- Updates provider templates
- Actively participates in the generation of new ideas
- Responsible for communication and public speaking to employees of CORE as well as other outside entities
- Active participation in curricula building and maintenance for the Center of Excellence
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training program at an accredited school or institution and/or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
EXPERIENCE
- Experience working in the back office as a Medical Assistant required
- Experience in Orthopedics is preferred
- Experience with training personnel preferred
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have flexibility to travel to onboard newly acquired HopCo sites nationally and provide training as needed
KNOWLEDGE
- Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology and HIPPA guidelines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinic flow and throughput delivery of excellent customer service and best practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of COREs Workflows and Standard Operating Procedures.
SKILLS
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong leadership and public speaking (small group) skills

- Ability to maintain patient and employee confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate with upset and frustrated patients while consistently providing excellence customer service.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy concern good listening skills and compassion for all patients.
- Consistent delivery of excellent patient care
- Ability to motivate and inspire others with contagious positive energy to take action and lead them to delivery consistently excellent patient care.
- Ability to establish good working relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS
- Normal office environment
- Regular travel to CORE locations throughout the market
- Ability to travel as needed to all CORE sites through the US
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
- Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment
- Some bending and stretching required
- Manual dexterity using a calculator and computer keyboard
- Some small group public speaking
ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
