We are seeking a motivated Operations Engineer I with foundational experience in Citrix technologies to support day-to-day operations monitoring and maintenance of Citrix environments. The role focuses on ensuring system availability performance and user experience while adhering to organizational standards and SLAs.
We are looking for a Operations Engineer I who will:
- You will validate end-to-end data pipelines from source systems to final dashboards
- You will provide L1/L2 support for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments
- You will monitor and maintain Citrix components such as:
- Delivery Controllers
- StoreFront
- Citrix Gateway (NetScaler)
- VDAs (Virtual Delivery Agents)
- You will perform basic troubleshooting for session connectivity and performance issues
- You will handle incidents service requests and alerts via ticketing tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
- You will perform initial triage and escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams
- You will ensure adherence to SLA/OLA commitments
- You will provide timely updates to stakeholders and users
- You will monitor system health using tools like:
- Citrix Director
- SCOM / other monitoring tools
- You will perform routine checks and preventive maintenance
- You will assist in patching and upgrades of Citrix components
- You will support user provisioning and access issues
- You will troubleshoot login failures profile issues and application launch failures
- You will work with Active Directory teams for authentication-related issues
- You will generate basic reports on incidents uptime and performance
- Scripting knowledge in PowerShell Python etc.
Is this opportunity right for you We are looking for candidates who have:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 13 years of experience in Citrix/Windows support
- Exposure to ITIL processes
- Monitoring tools(SCOM Nagios etc.)
- Certifications (nice to have):
- Citrix Certified Associate (CCA)
- Microsoft certifications (Windows Server / Azure)
- Basic knowledge of:
- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)
- Citrix Gateway (NetScaler)
- Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
- Active Directory DNS DHCP
- Understanding of:
- Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
- Group Policy (GPO)
- Basic troubleshooting skills for:
- User sessions
- Application delivery issues
- Network connectivity
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Scripting knowledge AI tools exposure
- Good communication (verbal & written)
- Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment
- Team player with a proactive attitude
