What will the work look like for me

Our Company Driver provides safe reliable and professional transportation services for the CEO and CFO. This role requires discretion flexibility and a high level of professionalism while supporting business travel and related transportation needs.

Essential responsibilities include:

• Safely transport designated team members to and from meetings airports events and other business-related destinations utilizing company vehicles.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding schedules travel details conversations and company information.
• Plan and adjust routes based on traffic weather and schedule changes to ensure timely arrivals.
• Maintain accurate trip log books including mileage passenger(s) destinations and travel times.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness readiness and fuel levels.
• Perform routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading luggage or materials as needed.
• Coordinate schedules with executive assistants or other designated contacts.
• Represent Daktronics professionally at all times.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

What will a work schedule look like

• Schedule will vary based on travel and business needs.
• Hours may include early mornings evenings and weekends.
• Estimated to be 10-20 hours/week.

Where is this opportunity located

Position is located in Brookings SD.

To be considered for Driver we require the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Strong communication time-management and organizational skills.
• Dependable attendance and flexibility to accommodate varying schedules.
• Valid drivers license with a good driving record.
  • The selected individual must be able to travel by air and ground and comply with the Daktronics Driver Eligibility Policy to begin and maintain employment. This requirement will be verified through a motor vehicle record (MVR) check conducted in accordance with applicable federal state provincial and local laws.
• Fluent in English written and verbal.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Daktronics does not sponsor renew or extend immigration visas for this position.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift or pull up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to enter and exit vehicle repeatedly.
• Ability to bend and inspect vehicle tires and undercarriage.
• Ability to manually open and close vehicle doors and rear hatches.
