As a Training Specialist you will contribute to the success of learning initiatives byidentifyingtraining needs recommending solutions and delivering impactful learning experiences. You will design and develop training programs that align with business goalsfacilitateengaging sessions mentor learners and collaborate with stakeholdersand internal training groupsto ensure content relevance and role also includes supporting the coordination and execution of training projects requiring attentiveness to detail and a proactive approach to smooth program delivery.

Role Responsibilities

• Design and implement training programs aligned with organizationalobjectivesandlearnerneeds.

• Deliverengaging and effective training sessions across various formats ensuring their proper certification logging training records andmaintainingtraining programs.

• Collaborate with subject matter expertsstakeholders managers and trainersto ensure content accuracy and relevance.

• Analyze learning data and feedback to improve training effectiveness.

• Identifylearning needs and recommend targeted training solutions.

• Contribute to strategic training-related projects including planning scheduling and resource coordination.

• Participate in regularcustomerengagement activities (e.g. customer calls support sessions or observations) tomaintainpracticalexpertiseand ensure trainingremainsaligned with customer needsdepending on the supported skills.

• Support administrative tasks related to traininglogistics reporting andrecord-keeping.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals and drive employee performance through effective training initiatives.

• Assistinmaintainingproject documentation tracking milestones and flagging risks to ensuretimelyand quality delivery of training programs.

• Adapt to evolving business needs by learning and supporting different processes asrequired.

• Commit to travel (up to50%of working time) basedon project or operational needs.

Role Requirements

• 9 months in functions similar to those the Training team supportswith demonstrated strong with these Operations teams is considered an advantage

• Interestin adult learning and training development. Experience with facilitating training mentoring peers or similar either at Western Union or elsewhere.

• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

• Strong presentation skills and interpersonal skills to engage diverse groups.

• Ability to communicate at ease with supervisor/manager/leader levels

• Intermediate knowledge of the main MS Office tools.

• Facilitation skills mentoring / coaching proactiveness collaboration attentiveness to detail analytical skills growth mindset

• Flexibility to adjust to different shifts occasionally.

• Knowledge of instructional designand trainingexperienceconsideredan advantage.

It will be considered an advantage if you have:

A diploma formal certification or proven informal education experience in training education instructional design psychology or related fields.

Work Shift

Western Union values in-person collaboration problem solving and ideation whenever possible. We believe this fosters common ways of working and supports how we execute initiatives for our customers. The expectation is to work from the office a minimum of three days a week.
