Operations Analyst (Multiple Positions)
Job Summary
You will need:
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering architecture planning or relevant fields.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in infrastructure sector (urban transport energy agriculture food nature rural development) safeguards procurement public sector management and governance financial sector; experience in international agencies will be preferred.
- Experience in the various stages of the project cycle. Knowledge of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) conditions of contract will be an advantage
- Ability to work on assigned transactions areas of analysis and research which have well-defined scope and steps
- Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis to support decision-making
- Effective report-writing and communication skills in English and the national language
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and required information technologies.
- Ability to liaise and work with government officials within own work location and with colleagues throughout ADB

This appointment is open to internal and external applicants.
This opening is a local staff position. It is open only to nationals and permanent residents of India.
This is a fixed term appointment with option to renew initially for a period of up to 3 years or up to the Normal Retirement Date (NRD) whichever comes earlier for the purpose(s) and conditions determined by ADB in accordance with Administrative Order No. 2.01 (Recruitment and Appointment). After the initial fixed-term period ADB may choose to renew the appointment for up to an additional 3 years or not renewed. This decision will be made in the overall interest of ADB based on factors including but not limited to the requirement of Staffs particular blend of skills and experience for the medium-term work program of the organizational unit sufficient funding to cover the renewed period and Staffs performance and suitability for employment. There is no limit to the number of renewals up to NRD. However this appointment is not convertible to a regular appointment.

Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position of Operations Analyst is assigned to India Resident Mission (INRM) within the South Asia Department (SARD). You will be based at our India Resident Mission in New Delhi India.
You will report to the designated international staff and officer.
Your Role
As an Operations Analyst you will provide administrative and analytical statistical support to the responsibilities of portfolio management and project administration activities in the selected sector/ team including (urban /transport /energy /agriculture /food /nature /rural development /safeguards /procurement /public sector management and governance /financial sector).
You will:
- Assist and coordinate in preparation and updating of Project Administration Manual (PAM).
- Help prepare and contribute in the updating of individual Project Performance Reports (PPRs) for loans and participate in the departmental PPR meetings when needed.
- Coordinate the compilation of data and statistics on contract awards and disbursements for the assigned projects and help monitor and analyze the actual awards and disbursements against targets.
- Maintain records to monitor compliance with project and technical assistance (TA) covenants and help monitor physical progress in projects/TA implementation.
- Support following-up on outstanding obligations of executing agencies and inputs data on the status of such compliance into the resident mission (RM) database.
- Help update procurement (including consultant recruitment) preparing/review of data input for Procurement Contract Summary Sheet (PCSS) to update the Loan Financial Information System (LFIS).
- Help monitor progress of projects follow up submission of project reports financial statements and maintain computer-based information system.
- Participate in various missions as required and provide independent support and perform other tasks as assigned and reflected in your workplan.
