Job Summary

    • Annual salary of 29504 (FTE)
    • Permanent role
    • Full-time (37 hours) (5 days Monday Sunday)
    • Based in Rochdale
    • You will be required to work 1 in 3 weekends

    The role

    As a Womens Support Worker at Petrus you will provide support to our female service users at one of our womens only projects. You must be able to work sympathetically with women who have been homeless and have complex needs.

    You will work to empower service users actively engaging them with the community and helping them to support each other to develop resilience to live independently and to be an asset to the community.

    The right fit

    • You must be able to assess needs to plan and deliver effective stimulating and dynamic support.
    • Youre able to develop service user volunteering and community involvement.
    • Demonstrable organisational skills in order to plan your own workload and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
    • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
    • You can manage risk appropriately and ensure that procedures are followed.
    • You may be required to travel to other offices and therefore the ability to travel to places that may not be easily accessible via public transport is necessary.
