This is a midsenior level Microsoft/Azure role (70% pre-sales and 30% solution design) and strong communication is required. Fully remote and based on Sydney/Australian hours (9am to 6pm Sydney time).

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer (Emerging Architect Track). In this position you will design implement and optimize cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure. Key responsibilities include managing infrastructure streamlining operations driving cloud adoption strategies and collaborating on complex cloud architecture projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and secure implementations and act as a technical advisor in advancing clients cloud maturity.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Cloud Computing and Microsoft Azure with experience in deploying managing and optimizing cloud-based systems
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure including designing scalable and secure architectures
• Experience with Linux environments and their configuration maintenance and optimization
• Knowledge of Databases including deployment maintenance and administration of database systems
• Software Development skills including scripting and automation for cloud infrastructure
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to design solutions that meet clients specific needs
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect are highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
