Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dynamic Radiology/Cardiology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures ensuring high-quality imaging and delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols
- Operate imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images
- Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure accurate results
- Maintain equipment and adhere to safety and radiation protection standards
- Accurately document procedures and patient information
Requirements:
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-N or NMTCB preferred)
- Active state licensure (if required)
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
