About the role:
Join our Rewards & Recognition team and drive the success of industry-leading recognition programs that motivate and reward our field advisors and leaders. As a Recognition Program Specialist youll be the go-to expert for complex program administration analytics and process improvements making a direct impact on advisor engagement and business results. Youll work collaboratively with field leaders vendors and cross-functional teams in a dynamic fast-paced environment where your problem-solving skills and attention to detail truly matter.
What will you do
- Drive end-to-end delivery and administration of complex SLFD recognition programs while maintaining regulatory compliance and internal controls
- Serve as the subject matter expert for field leaders and stakeholders resolving complex cases and providing strategic recommendations
- Develop analyze and audit program data and performance metrics to identify trends ensure accuracy and support continuous improvement
- Lead process improvement initiatives from concept to implementation managing change across teams and stakeholders
- Mentor team members and provide coaching to build competencies while overseeing project delivery and task management systems
What do you need to succeed
- 3 to 5 years of experience supporting advisors
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Excel (Pivot tables V-look ups Macros) Word PowerPoint SharePoint and experience with data analysis and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple workstreams and competing priorities in ambiguous situations
- Strong collaboration negotiation and communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups and organizational levels
- Strategic problem-solver who synthesizes information quickly thinks creatively and delivers actionable solutions
- Results-oriented with sound business judgment and the ability to balance process compliance with operational efficiency
Preferred Skills:
- University degree
- Working knowledge of Sun Life Financial Distribution model
- Experience dealing with the SLFD advisors and field leaders
- Knowledge of the advisors commission structure and agreements
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite

- Overtime will be required during peak and other periods as required (month-end year-end)

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other addition to Base Pay eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
