The mission of the Mass Production Materials Program Management team is to drive dynamic material strategy and execution to support the product roadmap balancing supply flexibility and cost exposure. We are seeking a Materials Program Manager to support material strategy manage budgets drive readiness and mitigate E&O throughout the product life cycle.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8 years of material management supply chain or purchasing experience in high-volume hardware.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills regarding manufacturing sites SKU mixes and Tier 25 management.
- Experience managing high-volume consumer electronics product launches.
- Proven track record of driving alignment and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience developing data models or partnering with IT to scale systems for efficiency.
- BS in Electrical Mechanical or Manufacturing/Operations Engineering or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead material availability and readiness for in-production programs (PVT ramp sustaining and end of manufacturing).
- Engage with Ops and supply chain leaders to address business-impacting issues.
- Design and implement Material Drive strategies to manage buffers and enable quick responses to demand changes.
- Drive cross-functional alignment on PRQ priority and material allocation.
- Ensure CTB publication aligns with MO partner timelines.
- Oversee regular CTB reviews to close material shortages with GSM planning OPS and quality teams.
- Manage day-to-day execution with Contract Manufacturers and distributors; act as an escalation point for critical issues.
- Drive E&O consolidation and mitigation; manage approvals for financial reserves and settlement.
- Improve the efficiency of tools such as CTB Liability Curve and E&O Master Files.
- Influence stakeholders and gain alignment on proposed plans.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin (Chinese) is highly desirable for communication with partners in the China market.
- Experience in cross-functional partnering.
- Track record of identifying and developing talent.
