Pay: $120000.00 - $200000.00 per year

Note: Candidates must be admitted to the California Bar and have civil litigation experience. Experience in real estate construction landlord/tenant commercial lease unlawful detainer or business litigation is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters involving real estate construction landlord/tenant business and commercial disputes
• Handle law and motion practice pleadings discovery court appearances hearings and settlement negotiations
• Draft and respond to complaints motions discovery requests correspondence settlement agreements and other litigation documents
• Analyze case strategy evaluate risk and help move matters toward practical resolution
• Work directly with clients opposing counsel courts and internal team members
• Support matters involving commercial lease defaults possession actions construction claims contract disputes real estate misrepresentation claims and property-related conflicts
• Manage deadlines case calendars filings and litigation tasks with strong attention to detail
• Take increasing ownership of cases based on experience level

Qualifications

• California Bar admission required
• 2 years of civil litigation experience preferred for junior-level candidates
• 5 years of civil litigation experience preferred for senior-level candidates
• Experience with California civil procedure strongly preferred
• Real estate construction landlord/tenant unlawful detainer commercial lease or business litigation experience preferred
• Strong legal research legal writing analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable appearing in court and communicating with clients
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines
• Real estate broker license is a plus but not required
