Test Support Pilot (Mid-Level)

Company:

Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Mid-Level Test Support Pilot to join our Flight Operations team in Seattle WA.

As a Light Test Support Pilot at the Boeing Company you will have the opportunity to fly our light support aircraft in support of our Commercial Military and Development programs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Primary role - Fly as a single or dual pilot in the execution of aircrew movements with light support aircraft Cessna Caravan Pilatus PC-12 and others to support offsite production and engineering flight operations

• Secondary role - May participate in acceptance ferry and functional test flights on testbed aircraft

• Assists Engineering in the planning of project flight profiles

• Demonstrates testbed acceptance process to validate configuration compliance; contributes to project configuration and safety review

• Coordinates with Engineering Manufacturing and Airworthiness personnel on certification efforts to ensure design integrity

• Identifies and documents project configuration deficiencies and coordinates resolution with engineering

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

• Commercial Certificate or FAA ATP with appropriate endorsements or military equivalent

• Single Engine Turbo-prop experience

• Aircrew experience

• Experience working with Flight Test

• 1000 flight hours

• Current FAA Class II medical certificate or the ability to obtain one

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors Degree or higher
