We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for our long-term care residents at Fairview Senior Living. The hours of this part-time position are Mondays Tuesdays and Thursday from 3:00pm-11:00pm. You will work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON).
Position Requirements
- Successful completion of RN or LPN license program
- Proven experience as an RN or LPN (or a similar role)
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of emergency care
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures and willingness to follow them at all times
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Good knowledge of Point Click Care office and data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible compassionate and able to handle stress
