This is a hybrid position with 3 days/week onsite in Towson MD and 2 days/week from home.

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support IT procurement and contract administration activities within a public-sector environment. This role focuses on helping ensure the timely cost-effective and compliant acquisition of goods and services while supporting operational and vendor management needs.
The Contract Manager will work closely with procurement legal and technical stakeholders to manage the full lifecycle of IT-related contracts from solicitation through execution and closeout. This includes coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to maintain compliance support procurement workflows and ensure contracts are executed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the development drafting and administration of IT-related solicitations (RFBs RFPs RFQs)
- Assist in managing Requests for Information (RFIs) vendor communications demonstrations and Q&A processes
- Coordinate procurement activities including kick-off meetings pre-proposal sessions approvals and document reviews
- Track contracts through legal procurement and internal approval workflows
- Monitor contract financials including funding levels burn rates and expenditures
- Support contract lifecycle management including renewals amendments scope changes and vendor performance tracking
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all contracts and procurement activities (digital and physical records as required)
- Communicate contract requirements processes and updates across stakeholders
- Support scheduling meeting coordination agendas notes and action item tracking for contract-related activities
- Assist with day-to-day procurement operations and vendor coordination
- Perform other related duties as needed
- Experience supporting IT procurement within a government or public-sector environment
- Familiarity with enterprise IT procurement or large-scale program support
- 3 years of contract management experience
- 3 years of IT administrative or IT support experience
- 4 years of Microsoft Office experience (Word Excel Outlook etc.)
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
- Excellent organizational coordination and multitasking abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
