What Youll Do

As our inaugural Practice Manager you will:

• Establish operational systems workflows and accountability structures
• Lead day-to-day hospital operations including staffing scheduling training and performance management
• Partner with the practice owner on budgeting growth strategy and service development
• Foster a cohesive respectful and high-performing team culture
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements
• Ensure an exceptional frictionless client experience

Because we are a small team this role requires functional hands-on capability. You must be comfortable stepping in to support front desk operations assisting with workflow coordination troubleshooting scheduling issues and helping maintain smooth daily operations when needed.

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of veterinary experience with at least 3 years of management experience
• The ideal candidate is a licensed veterinary technician with the ability to become licensed in the state
• Demonstrated success leading and developing teams
• Strong working knowledge of veterinary hospital operations scheduling and performance management
• Functional operational skills with the ability to actively support front desk or patient workflow needs in a small-team environment
• Financial literacy including basic budgeting and KPI monitoring
• Excellent communication organization and problem-solving skills
• A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to accountability and culture
