Senior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new software solutions and improve the performance of existing applications

• Analyze business and IT requirements to understand user needs and propose effective technical solutions

• Proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements

• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives

• Design and implement system changes within short feedback cycles

• Ensure software quality through automated testing continuous integration and engineering best practices

• Continuously upgrade and improve existing systems and technical environments

• Participate actively in source code reviews and design reviews providing valuable feedback

• Troubleshoot debug and resolve production and application issues

• Provide technical guidance and testing support to other engineers

• Transform business requirements into technical designs concepts and proof-of-concepts

• Contribute to defining the future technical direction architecture and development strategy of the product

• Take ownership of the complete development lifecycle with a strong focus on continuous improvement

• Promote and follow software engineering best practices

• Work within Scrum teams and actively participate in Agile ceremonies

• Perform L3 support activities including incident investigation fixes and guidance for L2 support teams

• Create and maintain clear technical specifications and documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of professional software development experience

• Strong experience with Java 8 or higher

• Good understanding of Spring Boot

• Experience with Camunda governance from development through production

• Solid understanding of JMS and HTTP protocols

• Experience with SOA architecture and Web Services (REST/SOAP)

• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and database-driven applications

• Good understanding of security protocols and concepts such as SSL TLS and certificate handling

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools including Jira Git Maven TeamCity Artifactory and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have

• Additional hands-on experience with Camunda
