Job Summary

Job Title: Cost Accountant (Automotive Manufacturing)
Salary: $90000-$120000
Work Type: On-site / Hybrid
Work Type: Direct Placement / Full-time
Location: Windsor ON

We are hiring a Senior Cost Accountant for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role focused on job costing plant financial support and oversight of accounts receivable with the opportunity to grow into a Controller/Finance Lead position.

Responsibilities:

Manage job/project costing (labour materials overhead)
Analyze margins and cost variances
Support plant operations with financial insights and KPI tracking
Assist with monthly close WIP and inventory valuation
Oversee accounts receivable invoicing and collections
Improve cash flow (DSO) and resolve billing issues

Must Haves:

Degree in Accounting
5 years experience in manufacturing (tooling preferred)
Strong cost accounting / job costing experience
Exposure to plant accounting and AR
Advanced Excel and ERP experience

Nice to have: (CPA/CMA preferred)
