RN ER Nights 1900-0730 Thur Fri and Saturday Nights
Hoilday Pay -New Year Thanksgiving and Christmas only!
Job Description
Provides patient care in an emergency setting reflecting initiative flexibility and responsibility with minimum supervision. Triages safely rapidly and accurately. Communicates with physicians about patient status. Must be willing to cross-train in other nursing departments as the need arises.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current California RN license BLS ACLS* and PALS* certifications required with 2 years recent ER experience preferred and operating knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (T-System and CPSI).
- Must pass nursing medication test. Must be able to effectively communicate in English; both verbal and written.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and interface professionally tactfully and respectfully with patients staff the general public and governmental agency reps.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Must be willing to float to Med Surg if needed
