Position Overview Tekberry is seeking a Facilities Turnover Coordinator to support our client within Residential & Dining Enterprises (R&DE). This role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing student housing room turnover between academic terms ensuring all spaces are clean safe and ready for incoming residents.
Responsibilities - Conduct detailed room and facility inspections to assess condition damages and maintenance needs
- Serve as the on-site point of contact for vendors contractors and university partners
- Coordinate with custodial teams to ensure cleaning and readiness standards are met
- Enter and track maintenance work orders for identified issues
- Monitor vendor progress and verify completion of work and cleaning tasks
- Assist with scheduling and communicate timelines for room turnover activities
- Perform inventory checks and track furniture fixtures and assets
- Document damages and assist in billing assessments using provided tools
- Generate reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Support additional facility-related projects as needed
Required Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year of relevant experience (or equivalent)
- Strong organizational coordination and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced changing environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn systems quickly
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in facilities housing operations or property management
- Experience coordinating vendors or overseeing operational workflows
- Valid California Drivers License (a plus not required)
Work Environment & Requirements - 100% onsite role in student housing environment
- Schedule varies based on operational needs (June and September peak periods)
- May require occasional evenings or weekends
- Work environment may include clean residential spaces as well as areas in transition or under maintenance
- Frequent walking standing and stair use
