Position Overview
Tekberry is seeking a Facilities Turnover Coordinator to support our client within Residential & Dining Enterprises (R&DE). This role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing student housing room turnover between academic terms ensuring all spaces are clean safe and ready for incoming residents.
Responsibilities
Conduct detailed room and facility inspections to assess condition damages and maintenance needs
Serve as the on-site point of contact for vendors contractors and university partners
Coordinate with custodial teams to ensure cleaning and readiness standards are met
Enter and track maintenance work orders for identified issues
Monitor vendor progress and verify completion of work and cleaning tasks
Assist with scheduling and communicate timelines for room turnover activities
Perform inventory checks and track furniture fixtures and assets
Document damages and assist in billing assessments using provided tools
Generate reports and maintain accurate documentation
Support additional facility-related projects as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year of relevant experience (or equivalent)
Strong organizational coordination and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced changing environment
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn systems quickly
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in facilities housing operations or property management
Experience coordinating vendors or overseeing operational workflows
Valid California Drivers License (a plus not required)
Work Environment & Requirements
100% onsite role in student housing environment
Schedule varies based on operational needs (June and September peak periods)
May require occasional evenings or weekends
Work environment may include clean residential spaces as well as areas in transition or under maintenance
Frequent walking standing and stair use
