Tekberry is seeking a Billing Specialist I to support frontline billing operations and customer support for our client a leader in automotive technology and digital solutions.
This role serves as the first point of contact for billing-related inquiries supporting both internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills experience handling high-volume calls and the ability to explain billing contract terms and account details clearly and accurately.
This is a customer-facing billing role requiring strong attention to detail problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities Customer Support & Billing Inquiries Answer high-volume inbound calls and emails related to billing inquiries
Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external clients
Provide clear and accurate information regarding billing invoices and account balances
Billing & Contract Understanding Review and understand contract terms invoicing details and accounts receivable balances
Explain billing information to clients in a clear and professional manner
Ensure accurate documentation of all interactions
Systems & Documentation Document client interactions and updates within Salesforce and SAP
Maintain accurate records and case notes for audit and tracking purposes
Navigate multiple systems efficiently while supporting clients
Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with internal teams including:
- Contracts Processing
- Accounts Receivable
- Billing Operations
- Collections
Collaborate with Sales Retention and Business teams to resolve inquiries
Escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution
Required Qualifications Experience handling high-volume inbound calls in a customer service or billing environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly
Experience reviewing or discussing billing invoices or account balances
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
Ability to work collaboratively across teams
Preferred Qualifications Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
Experience with Genesys or call center platforms
Background in billing operations accounts receivable or finance support
Experience working in a customer-facing financial or billing support role
Work Environment This is a fully remote role supporting a cross-functional billing and finance operations team. The position requires strong communication organization and the ability to manage high volumes of inquiries while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
