Job Title: Sonographer (Acute Care) Location: Hot Springs AR Employment Type: Full-Time (In-Person) Salary: $59800 $83720 per year

Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Sonographer to join our acute care cardiology/imaging team in Hot Springs AR. You will perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures supporting our medical staff in delivering timely and accurate patient diagnoses within a high-acuity hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnostic Imaging: Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including abdominal obstetric vascular pelvic and small parts scans.

• Patient Care: Prepare patients for examinations clearly explain the procedure to alleviate anxiety and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the process.

• Equipment Management: Expertly operate ultrasound equipment ensuring it is clean well-maintained and functioning optimally.

• Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists and clinical staff to facilitate efficient diagnostic reporting.

• Documentation: Ensure accurate recording of findings and maintain professional clinical standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program.

• Licensure: Current Arkansas State License in good standing is mandatory.

• Certification: * ARRT or DMS Certification required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Experience: Previous experience in an acute care or hospital environment is required.
