Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Body CAD Engineer to design and develop automotive body structures and components for next-generation electric vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for BIW (Body-in-White) components
Work on sheet metal design plastic parts closures and underbody structures
Ensure designs meet manufacturability cost and quality targets
Collaborate with CAE manufacturing and supplier teams
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and GD&T application
Support design validation and engineering change management

Required Skills

Strong expertise in CAD tools such as CATIA V5/V6 / NX / Creo
Experience in BIW design and automotive body systems
Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis
Familiarity with PLM tools (Teamcenter/Enovia)
Understanding of DFMEA and DFM/DFA principles

Preferred

EV platform experience
Exposure to crash safety requirements
OEM or Tier-1 supplier experience
