Research Engineer (Antenna Design Engineer)
Exp-2-6 Years
Job Summary
We are seeking an Antenna Design Engineer (Research Engineer) to join our Automotive R&D
team. The role focuses on the research design simulation prototyping and validation of
automotive antennas supporting advanced vehicle communication systems such as 5G LTE
GNSS V2X Wi-Fi Bluetooth and radar. The ideal candidate will contribute to next-generation
connected autonomous and electric vehicle platforms through innovative antenna solutions
optimized for automotive constraints.
Key Responsibilities
Research design and develop automotive antennas (embedded conformal shark-fin
glass-mounted PCB and on-body antennas).
Perform electromagnetic (EM) simulations and optimization using tools such as HFSS
CST FEKO or ADS
Develop antenna concepts considering vehicle packaging styling thermal and
mechanical constraints.
Prototype tune and validate antennas in lab and vehicle environments.
Conduct RF measurements including S-parameters radiation patterns efficiency
isolation and MIMO performance.
Support V2X cellular GNSS UWB radar and infotainment systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (RF systems mechanical validation and
manufacturing).
Perform vehicle-level antenna integration and co-existence/interference analysis.
Support homologation and compliance testing (e.g. ECE FCC CISPR ISO SAE).
Document research findings design guidelines and test reports.
Contribute to innovation patents and technical publications where applicable
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in engineering/ Bachelors in engineering Electronics RF/Microwave
Engineering or related field.
Strong fundamentals in antenna theory electromagnetics and RF systems.
Hands-on experience with antenna simulation and measurement techniques.
Knowledge of automotive communication standards (LTE/5G GNSS V2X Wi-Fi
Bluetooth).
Experience with RF test equipment (VNA spectrum analyser anechoic chamber OTA
testing).
Understanding of vehicle integration challenges and EMI/EMC principles
