Job Summary
Truck Driver Class A (Manual Transmission)
Schedule: 40 hours per week (MondayFriday) occasional Saturdays
Work Location: Multiple locations
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate a Drag / Low Boy Trailer or Dump Truck with a heavy equipment trailer to transport materials and equipment to job sites
- Pick up verify and deliver materials as instructed
- Utilize navigation tools and road maps efficiently
- Conduct daily truck inspections
- Load and unload equipment
Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with heavy equipment used in excavation concrete and paving
- Ability to operate equipment for loading and unloading at various sites
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and adherence to workplace safety policies
- Immediate reporting of any vehicle issues to the supervisor
- Accurate completion and verification of paperwork
- Strict adherence to traffic laws and DOT regulations
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
- Compliance with random drug testing
- Clean driving record (no DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years)
- Dependability and reliability
Experience & Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A (Manual Transmission)
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Minimum age: 21 years or older
