Job Summary
Job Title - Designer -Menswear
Location - New York NY 10013 USA
Duration - 3 Months
Designer Mens Knits and Sweaters
Responsible for creating original concepts that encompass style color and fabric as a result of interpreting fashion trends. Produces sketches and may make seasonal presentations of proposed designs. Analyzes fashion trends. Partners with sourcing and materials development. May provide basic fit and body block information and attend fit sessions. Typically reports to Design Director. Bachelors degree in Design or equivalent experience. Related design experience.
HMs comments:
Identify new seasonal trends silhouettes fabrics and techniques
Responsible for seasonal Fabric orders to the color level
Black and White Sketching
Color-up all sketches
Attend cross functional meetings with Mens Merchandising Production Technical design
Create Clients Paks/Tech paks partnering with Production and Tech Design and help communicate vision behind fit and design ensuring execution quality and desired margin targets are achieved.
