Job Description:
The Agile Development Group (ADG) division specializes in developing disruptive next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV) advanced radar systems next-generation weapon systems and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.
Essential Functions:
- Apply computer science engineering and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the targeted embedded hardware.
- Advanced skills in C implementing software for embedded Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Work closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware firmware and software and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system.
- Investigate root cause of complex issues and implement solutions working independently or with a multi-discipline team.
- Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle including requirements analysis design implementation hardware-software integration and formal test.
- Develop software test plans and procedures and other relevant technical documentation.
- Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data conduct experimental tests prototype and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews identify track and repair defects.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen.
- Active DoW Clearance required.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer ScienceComputer Engineering or related fieldwith 6 years prior experience OR Graduate Degree with 4 years prior experience OR in lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in computer/software engineering field.
- Minimum of 8 years of C development in a professional environment.
- Must be eligible for additional clearances.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarly with Greenhills RTOS.
- Experience developing device drivers and Board Support Packages for real-time embedded systems.
- Experience with Modern C techniques.
- Experience withAgile Scrum/Kanban developmentprocesses and procedures.
- Working knowledge of Linux.
