Roles and Responsibilities

Project Financial Management & Reporting

• Manage financial planning control and reporting for R&D projects in accordance with internal control policies and company accounting standards.
• Define project milestones and coordinate with the accounting team to confirm revenue recognition timing.
• Lead project reviews from contract initiation to termination ensuring alignment with cross-functional project teams.
• Analyze execution performance and develop actionable plans to improve contract profitability and cash flow as well as mitigation plans for identified risks.

Expertise Development & Best Practices

• Develop deep expertise in financial business partnering and act as a quality and best practice resource within the function.
• Stay current on evolving finance and business trends and contribute to strategy and policy development to ensure high-quality delivery within area of responsibility.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Insight

• Demonstrate strong understanding of how finance integrates with R&D marketing and other functions.
• Possess solid knowledge of competitive landscape and key differentiators of the companys products and services in the market.

Problem Solving & Data Analysis

• Apply judgment to resolve moderately complex issues impacting the function. Approach existing solutions with new perspectives.
• Utilize technical experience and analytical skills to analyze data and support decision-making leveraging multiple internal resources and limited external sources.

Communication & Influence

• Deliver complex messages clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels. Serve as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.
• Lead small-scale projects with moderate risk and resource requirements.
• Communicate difficult or sensitive information with impact and work to build consensus. Develop influencing skills to shape outcomes within area of expertise.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial business partnering or related finance roles.
• Familiarity with R&D project management processes is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis budgeting cost control and revenue recognition.
• Proficient in English both written and verbal communication.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with R&D Marketing and senior management.
• Strong leadership potential and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in financial analysis tools (e.g. Excel Power BI); ERP system experience is a plus.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to plan organize and execute effectively.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
