L3Harris is seeking a diligent and security-minded Data Transfer Agent (DTA) to facilitate and monitor data transfers in support of our classified programs. The DTA will execute document and audit the movement of information between classified and unclassified systems ensuring integrity confidentiality and compliance with DoD and RMF (Risk Management Framework) policies.
Essential Functions:
- Perform controlled data transfers between information system security domains in accordance with security policies and procedures.
- Review inspect and sanitize data/media prior to transfer or introduction to classified systems.
- Maintain detailed logs records and audit trails for every data movement as mandated by RMF and DoD regulations.
- Work closely with the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Facility Security Officer (FSO) to ensure all data transfer activities are authorized and documented.
- Implement and enforce security controls and policies to mitigate data spillage and leakage risks.
- Provide support during security audits and vulnerability assessments by maintaining proper transfer documentation.
- Perform periodic training for users on proper data transfer processes and security best practices.
- Respond promptly to incidents conduct investigations and deliver reports as required.
- A current and active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance post-hire is required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field
- Active Secret security clearance required with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance post-hire.
- 2 years of experience in an IT cybersecurity information assurance or related role in a classified environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework and its application in securing IT systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of DoD security standards RMF and NIST 800-53 controls.
- Proficiency with classified media handling media sanitization and auditing processes.
- Strong attention to detail analytical skills and organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with tools such as ACAS (Nessus) STIGViewer SCAP and Splunk.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and associated hardware platforms.
- IAM Level1 or higher compliant certification(Security)
- Experience with virtualization technologies and containerization including VMWare Docker and Podman
- Previous experience with RMF as InformationSystems Security Officer (ISSO)
- Experience as a Linux System Administrator
- Experience with NISPOM DAAG JSIG ICD
- Network CCNA CISSP RHCSA Certifications
- 2 years direct and relevant experience with Information Security and Cyber Intelligence working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
