We are looking for anEvents & Public Engagement Coordinator to joinFundaçãoEDP and play a key role in planning coordinating and delivering events within both museum and corporate contexts.

This role is ideal for a dynamic professional passionate about creating enriching and innovative experiences for diverse audiences ensuring operationalexcellenceand actively contributing to the development of impactful cultural programming.

What you will do:

  • Event Production and Logistics:Planning organization and execution of events in museum and corporate contexts including activities aimed at different audiences (children adults and art-focused publics). Ensuring all logistical requirements are met namely sound image projection and space configuration (seated or standing) delivering a smooth comfortable and high-quality experience for participants.

  • Stakeholder Management:Coordination of all stakeholders involved in events including artists speakers mediators and other collaborators. Ensuring clear andtimelycommunication making sure all parties have the necessary information to perform their roles effectively.

  • Event Planning and Monitoring:Development of detailed plans for each event including timelines requirements mapping and definition of contingency procedures. Supervision of setup execution and dismantling phases ensuringobjectivesare met and any constraints are efficiently resolved.

  • Post-Event Evaluation:Execution of evaluation processes based on feedback from participants and the team. Preparation of reports with results analysisidentifyingstrengths and improvement opportunities contributing to the continuous improvement of programmes.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree in Event Management Communication Cultural Management Public Relations or similar fields;

  • Professional experience in event production preferably within cultural contexts such as museums galleries or artistic institutions(nice to have);

  • Proficiencyin Portuguese and English (spoken and written);

  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams;

  • Strong communicationand leadership skills to effectively coordinate different stakeholders;

  • Basic technical knowledge of audiovisual equipment and logistical requirements for events;

  • Flexibility in working hours;

  • Ability to manage unexpected situations and resolve issues efficiently;

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
