(Senior) Software Engineer (AI ML)

Join us in our newly created role as a (Senior) Software Engineer (AI / ML) and shape the future of AI in our company! In this role you will tackle exciting challenges develop cutting-edge AI solutions and drive innovation from day one. Leveraging your solid software engineering background and experience in AI-driven projects you will play a key role in integrating machine learning and advanced intelligence systems into our products optimizing processes and unlocking new opportunities.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize AI/ML applications for various projects
• Implement and enhance Large Language Model (LLM) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications using LangChain
• Contribute to the design and development of scalable production-grade AI systems based on modern software engineering principles
• Develop and train computer vision models using PyTorch
• Design and implement robust software solutions following best practices in Python
• Set up and manage containers with Docker and Docker Compose
• Maintain code versioning with Git and ensure reliable deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate AI/LLM solutions into existing systems

Qualifications :

Your Profile

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science AI or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in software engineering with hands-on involvement in delivering AI/ML projects in production environments
• Practical experience working in UNIX/Linux (Ubuntu) environments and with LLM/RAG frameworks (e.g. LangChain) 
• Solid background in building and deploying AI systems ideally including computer vision with PyTorch
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker Docker Compose) and modern development workflows
• Strong understanding of Git and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Drone)
• Self-motivated team-oriented and analytical with a strong problem-solving mindset
• Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English
