About the role.

Provides leadership to snow removal crew to ensurethe safe removal of snow from company light carpentry andassistsinmaintenancework repairs and adjustments of processing equipment. Directs andassistsin maintenance work repairs and adjustments of packaging supervisor in repair and maintenance programs and the training of the maintenance personnel in their job supervisors duties in their absence.

What youll be doing.

• Assign necessaryinspectionto various subordinate personnel to ensure normal plant equipment operation.
• Assistmaintenance supervisor in repair and maintenance programs and the training of the maintenance personnel in their job functions.
• Assistpackaging supervisor in repair and maintenance programs and the training of the maintenance personnel in their job functions.
• Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor on planning andscheduling ofassignments to include working with and overseeing maintenance crews or projects with private contractors.
• Diagnose problems with packaging equipment and coordinates with supervision operators and other maintenance personnel to make necessary repairs.
• Direct andassistinmaintenancework repairs and adjustments of processing equipment.
• ImplementMcCain Competitive Edge and Lean Manufacturing practicesrelativeto Safety Quality Cost Delivery and People (SQCDP).
• Must be able to lead and direct maintenance tasks.
• Must be able to perform work in and outside the facility.
• Must be familiar with light carpentry work.
• Must be familiar with plant equipment and maintenancerequirement.
• Must be willing to work flexible schedules to include all shifts and weekends.
• On callfor all plant problems and breakdowns and for filling in for packaging maintenance supervisor as needed.
• On-site Requirement - Must perform duties onsite.
• Operate forklift and aerial liftin accordance withcompany policy.
• Perform supervisors duties in their absence.
• Possess athroughunderstanding of packaging and palletizing lines and how each piece of equipmentoperates.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure overallefficienciesof the packaging and palletizing lines.
• Provide training for packaging maintenance employees on the Ivara work order system.
• Responsible for daily and downtime sanitation.
• Verify daily designated snow area onroofsare cleared or in process.
• Verify daily withgroundsmaintenance crewto ensuretasklist is on track.
• Verify daily with temporary snow removal crew to ensuretasklist is on track.

What youll need to be successful.

• To perform this job successfully an individualmust be able to use themaintenanceCMMS systems.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Minimumthree months related experience and/or training.
• Minimum two years of mechanical maintenance experience and a solid understanding of motors control circuits and instrumentation.
• Minimum of 1 year as a Packaging/General Maintenance

Compensation Package:$ - $ Starting at 34.33 USD hourly Bonus eligibility Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
