Job Description:
Essential Functions:
- Requirements derivation for new capability added to legacy programs.
- Plan and conduct integration testing of new functionality while ensuring legacy functionality continues to work as intended.
- Capability documentation - including CONOP Use Cases Sequence Diagrams Requirements Specifications Test Plans Test Cards User Manuals and other technical documentation.
- Interface with Systems Engineering Software Development and Flight Line Test implement and test new baseline functionality.
- Work with management to clarify to schedule and budget required to accomplish assigned work.
- Prepare and present test/integration reports for program meetings.
- Develop track and present technical metrics.
- Manage work packages using collaborative tools through all phases of the project.
- Ability to thrive in an environment where tasking from multiple simultaneous efforts is required.
- Geolocation experience (Direction Finding or Collaborative Geo e.g. NCCT TNG) RF Hardware or Signals Analysis experience
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems including comfort with Command Line Linux.
- Misc related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Occasional off-shift work (evenings weekends) may be required to support aircraft flight test schedules.
- Ability to pass an FAA Class 3 Flight Physical and altitude chamber with willingness to support test flights.
- Up to 10% travel could be required CONUS/OCONUS.
- Ability to obtain DoW Secret or higher clearance with no barriers to obtaining TS/SI as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of systems engineering experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of systems engineering experience.
- In lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of systems engineering (or similar) experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of System Engineering fundamentals and processes.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating and verifying requirements across multiple software release cycles in simultaneous development.
- Demonstrated experience planning and conducting integration testing of new functionality.
- Demonstrated capability documentation - including CONOP Use Cases Sequence Diagrams Requirements Specifications Test Plans Test Cards User Manuals and other technical documentation.
- Demonstrated geolocation experience (Direction Finding or Collaborative Geo e.g. NCCT TNG) RF Hardware or Signals Analysis experience.
- Demonstrated familiarity with Linux operating systems including comfort with Command Line Linux.
Preferred Skills:
- Technical leadership experience.
- Cybersecurity Certification such as Sec CASP CySA or CISSP.
- Prior military SIGINT or RF maintenance experience.
- RF performance analysis (e.g. antenna gain array design RF cascade analysis).
- Direction Finding algorithm experience.
- Signals analysis experience.
- Digital Signal Processing experience.
- Software development experience.
- Familiarity with containers.
- Familiarity with virtual machines VMware vSphere.
- Proficiency with Linux and Bash scripting.
- Active DoW TS/SI clearance.
