Job Summary
As the Procurement Management Specialist you will manage end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process ensuring timely and accurate purchase orders and supplier follow-ups. Based in Dallas Texas you will contribute to efficient inbound supply chain operations to drive operational performance and client satisfaction across DKSH North America.
General Responsibilities
- Purchase Order Creation: Responsible for timely and accurate Purchase Order creation in SAP converting Purchase Requisitions (PR) into Purchase Orders (PO) and communication with all relevant stakeholders.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all documents from the vendor are correct and match our purchase order (pricing products quantities etc.
- Timely Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely responses from suppliers including following up for shipment dates and providing accurate information to stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Identify and analyze issues related to supplier order fulfillment. Apply established troubleshooting procedures and collaborate with colleagues to resolve challenges efficiently. Ensure clear and effective communication of solutions to clients and other stakeholders.
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Proven procurement knowledge in sourcing and supply chain principles including understanding purchase orders vendor terms and lead times; high awareness of cost control and invoice matching
- Proficient in SAP and experience with other logistics tracking tools as a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Effective problem-solving skills for order and delivery issues
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
