EVENT DISHWASHER

We are seeking an enthusiastic and efficient Event Dishwasher to join our dynamic team in Barcelona Spain for FORMULA 1 MSC CRUISES GRAN PREMIO DE BARCELONA CATALUNYA 2026  (from 6 June to 18 June or shorter). As a crucial member of our event staff you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our fast-paced kitchen environment during various events and gatherings.

• Clean and sanitise dishes glassware cutlery pots pans and kitchen utensils using manual and automatic dishwashing equipment
• Ensure proper storage and organisation of clean items in their designated areas
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area including work surfaces and floors
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and detergents as needed
• Assist in the disposal of food waste and recycling in accordance with local regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy event periods
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the kitchen by maintaining a clean and organised workspace
• Respond promptly to any additional cleaning requests from kitchen staff or event organisers

Qualifications :

• Previous experience as a dishwasher in a high-volume restaurant or event setting is preferred
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when required
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen setting
• Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting efficiency targets
• Resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Basic understanding of kitchen operations and workflow is advantageous
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
• Strong organisational skills and time management abilities
