Job Summary
Provides legal advice in basic legal matters
Researches applicable laws
Drafts simple contracts powers of attorney and other basic legal documents
Assists Legal Counsels in reviewing and drafting contracts templates and other legal documents
Collects receivables
Updates databases and company registers
Assists with corporate filings
Performs various administrative tasks
Supports acquisitions divestitures and similar transactions
Supports and co-ordinates internal transactions
May include the management of litigation with appropriate supervision
Drafts standard corporate documentation as required.
