Job Description:
The Agile Development Group (ADG) division specializes in developing disruptive next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV) advanced radar systems next-generation weapon systems and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.
Essential Functions:
- Apply computer science engineering and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the targeted platform
- Proficient in C C#.
- Work closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces and applications between hardware firmware and software and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system.
- Investigate root cause of complex issues and implement solutions working independently or with a multi-discipline team.
- Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle including requirements analysis design implementation hardware-software integration and formal test.
- Develop software test plans and procedures and other relevant technical documentation.
- Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data conduct experimental tests prototype and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews identify track and repair defects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer ScienceComputer Engineering or related fieldwith 4 years prior engineering experience OR 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 5 years prior engineering experience OR Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior related engineeringexperience OR in lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in computer/software engineering field.
- Minimum of 5 years C C# development in a professional environment.
- Active US Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Modern C C# Python and bash.
- Experience with Agile Scrum/Kanban development processes and procedures.
- Familiar with containerized development and tools like Kubernetes Docker and Helm in a Linux environment.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps standards and CI/CD Pipelines.
- Experience with Doxygen LaTex SonarQube and vcpkg is a plus.
