Job Title: LPN / LVN Ambulatory Care

Location: Rochester NY

Assignment Details

• Facility: Ambulatory Care Clinic
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Day Shift (7:30 AM 3:30 PM)
• Schedule: MondayFriday
• Weekend: Rotating Saturdays (9:00 AM 1:00 PM)
• Hours: 40 Hours/Week
• Floating: Required
• Orientation: 16 Hours (Non-billable)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a reliable LPN/LVN for a fast-paced ambulatory care clinic. The role involves supporting providers managing patient flow and delivering care to both adult and pediatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vitals history and chief complaints
• Administer medications and injections
• Perform EKGs and assist with diagnostic procedures
• Conduct specimen collection (including nasopharyngeal swabs)
• Perform basic clinical procedures (ear flushes BP monitoring etc.)
• Assist providers during exams and minor procedures
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Support clinic workflow and patient flow
• Communicate effectively with patients and care teams
• Float to other departments as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN License (New York or compact)
• Minimum 1 year ambulatory/outpatient experience
• Pediatric experience required
• Strong clinical skills (injections EKGs vitals swabs procedures)
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced settings
• Strong communication and multitasking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Travel experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• EMR system experience
• Experience floating across departments
