We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with strong expertise in Java Angular Cloud-Native Architecture and Enterprise Application Design to support a major transformation initiative within the airline industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on architect who can bridge business and technology while driving the design and delivery of scalable secure and high-performing enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own solution architecture for enterprise-scale Java and Angular applications.
• Design scalable secure resilient and maintainable systems supporting critical airline business functions.
• Lead architecture discussions technical design reviews and technology selection processes.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across backend and frontend development teams.
• Architect and oversee the development of:
  • Microservices architectures
  • RESTful APIs
  • Event-driven systems
  • Cloud-native applications
• Guide the development of responsive and user-friendly Angular applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional airline requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish and promote best practices across:
  • Software architecture
  • Coding standards
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • DevOps practices
  • Security
  • Observability
  • Performance optimization
• Review and improve existing application architectures to enhance scalability resilience and availability.
• Mentor developers technical leads and engineering teams on architecture principles and modern development practices.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps effort estimation release planning and architecture governance.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture Solution Architecture or Lead Technical Architecture roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Java
  • Spring Boot
  • Angular
  • Microservices Architecture
  • REST APIs
  • Event-Driven Architecture
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and containerized environments.
• Experience with:
  • Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • DevOps methodologies
• Deep understanding of:
  • Enterprise Integration Patterns
  • Security Architecture
  • Scalability and Performance Engineering
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience within the airline aviation transportation or travel industry.
• Knowledge of modern observability and monitoring platforms.
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as Azure AWS or Google Cloud.
• Exposure to event streaming technologies such as Kafka.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and governance models.
