Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern data engineering tools and cloud-based data platforms with a focus on building scalable high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
• Work with large datasets using modern data engineering frameworks and tools
• Build and optimize data workflows using Databricks dbt and Apache Spark
• Develop and maintain data solutions using Python and SQL Server
• Implement and manage data integration processes using Azure Data Factory
• Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to define data models and architecture
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Ensure data quality governance and performance optimization
• Support CI/CD processes and deployment of data solutions

Essential Skills

• Strong experience with Databricks dbt Apache Spark and Python
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server and advanced SQL
• Experience with Power BI for reporting and visualization
• Strong understanding of data architecture and data modeling

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SSIS and SSRS
• Exposure to enterprise-scale data environments
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
