MJK Connections is partnering with Mi Bank on this role that will assist clients with teller transactions opening accounts and services and problem solving. (S)He has the responsibility to assist in the office operations which includes opening and closing the branch answering phones balancing the ATM vault reviewing daily / monthly /quarterly reports and preparing reports. Typically incumbent stays primarily in the office: (s)he has no calling requirements or required sales goals and does not have a Book of Business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Customer Service In accordance with the Banks customer service standards provides service at a level that consistently exceeds the expectations of clients and other Bank employees. Proactively greets and engages clients and other visitors as they enter the Bank to make them feel welcome and to offer them assistance.
2. Teller Performs transaction processing functions including but not limited to processing client deposits withdrawals transfers loan payments night depository deposits and assist clients with cashiers checks. Maintains a cash drawer to service clients needs scans teller work and balances teller drawer at end of day. Prepare cash shipments / order cash for branch as needed.
3. Bank Products/Services - Remains current with the Banks products and services and related programs and systems so that incumbent is well able to perform the responsibilities herein. Assists consumer and business clients with various activities such as: opening accounts ordering checks issuing debit cards resetting of PINs and passwords assisting with stop payments address/information changes transaction issues and with questions complaints etc. Accepts requests for wire transfers and forwards to the processing Bank department. Inputs accounts and performs account maintenance - Creates/maintains client document files assuring that the appropriate documents have been obtained. Incumbent is responsible for scanning various branch documents such as account documentation. inputs accounts and services to the Banks computer system.
4. Monthly Reviews Assist with monthly alarm testing auto door locks. Conduct monthly cash audits of teller drawers vault and ATM.
5. Sales - Takes a proactive approach in knowing who the Banks clients are and knowing/learning about them so that their banking needs are appropriately matched with Bank products and services.
6. Procedural Knowledge/Compliance - Keeps abreast of all published Bank policies and procedures relating to his/her area of the performance of respective tasks and duties is expected to maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulations and all other regulatory security and Bank policies and procedures. Remains current with Banks online training programs as are scheduled for incumbent.
7. Loss Prevention / Security Personally maintains a loss level within the Banks standards relative to approved checks payment into uncollected funds and payment of overdrafts. Ensures that balancing record falls within the Banks teller difference standards. Maintains security controls in accordance with Bank policy to protect the office against criminal and fraudulent operations and unnecessary risk or exposure. Remains alert to situations presenting avoidable risk and takes appropriate action to minimize exposure.
8. Month/Quarter-End Reports Prepares month-end audit reports for cash-handling and ATM and uploads to the system.
9. Professional Appearance Provides and maintains a professional business-like atmosphere within the office. Ensures that the appearance of the office is also at a professional level. Reports any maintenance issues to appropriate Bank employees so that they may be quickly resolved if unable to resolve him/herself.
10. Performs the above and other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor to the satisfaction of supervisor.
