Job Summary
Are you interested in becoming a naturalist at the Prairie Park Nature Center We are looking for an individual to work on weekends specifically every other Saturday for an 8-hour shift and Sundays for a 3-hour this role you will participate in various activities to help our center operate smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:- Caring for our ambassador animals- Supporting environmental education programs for both children and adults- Leading animal-themed birthday parties for groups- Assisting with large events- Helping design and maintain our indoor and outdoor displays signage and exhibits- Keeping the center clean and organized- Providing excellent customer serviceTo qualify you must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid drivers license. You must also be certified in First Aid and CPR or be willing to obtain certification. Preferred qualifications include completing two years of college coursework in biological or environmental science or having experience in animal handling. Successful candidates will need to pass a background check. While submitting a resume is optional it is highly encouraged!
