Job summary:
As aConstruction Management Associate IIwithin theConstruction Management team you review construction documentation monitor project progress and identify risks that may impact a property during the term of the loan. You help ensure projects remain feasible compliant and aligned to terms by escalating issues early and partnering with stakeholders on solutions. You work across commercial multi-family and residential projects supporting consistent execution from initiation through closeout. You contribute to a culture of ownership strong controls and thoughtful decision-making. You also help strengthen the team through knowledge sharing and coaching.
In this role you will engage with customers bankers design professionals and third-party consultants to support effective project delivery. You will apply your understanding of construction methods materials standard practices and building codes to evaluate progress and documentation quality. You will be expected to balance multiple assignments communicate clearly and maintain resiliency when priorities shift. Your work directly supports safe and sound lending outcomes. You will also have opportunities to help improve processes and reporting.
Job responsibilities:
- Analyzeconstruction documents to assess project viability and alignment with loan terms and risk policies
- Monitorproject progress from initiation through closeout identifying and escalating issues that may impact the property
- Partnerwith internal and external stakeholders to support smooth execution and timely issue resolution
- Applyknowledge of construction materials methods standard practices and building codes across multiple asset types
- Documentfindings decisions and follow-ups in a clear and timely manner to support effective controls
- Coordinatewith third-party consultants as needed to validate progress risks and documentation quality
- Identifytrends and recurring issues andrecommendpractical improvements to reduce risk and rework
- Contributeto business review and resiliency efforts through critical thinking and structured problem-solving
- Prioritizeand manage multiple active projects to support on-time delivery and effective outcomes
- Supportjunior team members through coaching feedback and knowledge sharing
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Three yearsof experience in construction management construction lending support or a closely related field
- Demonstrated ability toreview and interpretconstruction documents (for example plans budgets schedules and contracts)
- Proven ability toidentify assess and escalateconstruction-related risks and issues in a timely manner
- Working knowledge of construction materials methods standard practices and applicable building codes
- Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and maintaining effective working relationships
- Strongwritten and verbal communicationskills with the ability to deliver clear documentation and updates
- Demonstrated ability tomanage multiple prioritiesusing strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to perform effectively under time constraints and shifting priorities while maintaining sound judgment
- Proficiency with common business tools (email spreadsheets document management) to support reporting and tracking
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Experience supporting commercial and/or multi-family construction projects and related loan structures
- Experience creating clear quantitative tracking and status reporting for project and risk monitoring
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and streamline workflows
- Experience partnering with third-party consultants (for example inspectors or cost reviewers)
- Strong digital literacy and comfort learning new systems and processes
Required or additional information:
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Work schedules will be full-time in office on a 40-hour per week schedule.
