Subcontracts Officer

About the Role:
As a Subcontracts Officer youll provide essential support to our Supply Chain team by managing subcontractor and supplier records ensuring documentation is processed accurately and in line with governance frameworks. Youll be a key contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers helping them understand and follow subcontracting processes.
This role suits someone with exposure to contracts or a strong interest in learning contract management. Experience in construction infrastructure or real estate is highly regarded but above all we value attitude clarity in communication and a commitment to process.

This role is based in our Toowoomba office working Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage subcontractor documentation supplier records and contract information with a high level of accuracy.
• Support subcontractor onboarding and ongoing compliance in line with governance and reporting requirements.
• Assist with the purchasing of goods and services through the administration of Supply and Subcontract Agreements including variations.
• Participate in RFx activities subcontract drafting and support negotiations as required.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and support efficient end to end supply chain workflows.
• Maintain accurate records reporting and contribute to supplier and subcontractor performance reviews.
• Facilitate and support meetings with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance engagement and service levels.
• Promote open communication with stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What Youll Bring:

• Strong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence to uphold governance and explain procedures clearly
• Exposure to contracts procurement or supplier management (or a willingness to learn)
• A collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to team goals
• Experience in construction infrastructure or real estate sectors is beneficial
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook Excel Word); SAP experience is an advantage but not essential
