Resource Specialist – IDD Services Wilmington

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Resource Specialist to provide oneonone support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in community and home-based settings. This position also includes some administrative work in the office. All required training will be provided.
Primary Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Some evenings and weekends as required
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct individualized support to persons served in accordance with their goals and support plans
- Assist individuals with community access daily activities and skill development
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely
- Perform general administrative tasks as assigned
- Communicate effectively with individuals families and team members
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the community
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- High School or equivalent required
Training:
- No prior experience required
- All required IDD-related training will be provided
