About the company
Remote World is partnering with a Filipino e-commerce and retail platform to hire for this role. They serve hundreds of thousands of customers across Southeast Asia and are scaling their customer service team to match.
The role
Youll be the friendly capable voice (and keyboard) of the brand handling queries via live chat email and occasionally phone. Youll resolve orders returns and account issues and leave every customer feeling looked after.
What youll do
- Handle inbound queries via live chat and email within SLA targets
- Resolve order payment and delivery issues using internal tools
- Escalate complex cases to the right team with full context
- Log all interactions accurately in the helpdesk system
- Spot patterns in recurring issues and flag them to the team lead
What youll need
- Clear warm written communication in English
- Patient and calm under pressure you genuinely like helping people
- Quick learner with new software tools
- Reliable internet and a quiet professional workspace
Nice to have
- Experience with Zendesk Freshdesk or similar helpdesk tools
- Previous customer service or BPO experience
- Familiarity with e-commerce order management systems
