MalaceHR is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development & Sales Specialist Mobile Maintenance to support growth within our mobile trade services division. This role is responsible for expanding market presence and driving new business opportunities across HVAC/R plumbing electrical and general carpentry services.
The ideal candidate will combine strong sales expertise with industry knowledge to deliver consultative solutions and build long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling networking and lead generation within target markets
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including facility managers property managers engineers and procurement teams
Lead negotiations and manage complex sales cycles through to close
Conduct site visits and needs assessments to understand client requirements and scope of work
Collaborate with internal teams (operations estimating design) to develop tailored service solutions
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
Respond to RFPs and provide accurate pricing and service recommendations
Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Participate in industry associations and networking events (e.g. BOMA IFMA IREM ASHE)
Stay informed on industry trends market conditions and competitor activity
Support marketing initiatives and client engagement efforts
Ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new clients
Provide ongoing support to maintain customer satisfaction and retention
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in one of the following:
Mobile maintenance services
HVAC/R mechanical plumbing or electrical industries
B2B/outside sales or technical roles (Estimator Project Manager Service Manager)
Proven track record of closing high-value deals and managing a sales pipeline
Strong communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook Word PowerPoint)
Valid drivers license
Preferred:
Associates degree in Business Marketing Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience with CRM platforms and tools such as ZoomInfo CoStar or similar sales analytics platforms
Additional Requirements
Strong attention to detail and sound business judgment
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
